A Temporary Social Experiment
Mauricio & Veronica — Miami, 2026
We met at a technology company,
but we experience the world through different systems.
System A — Signal
Logic, systems, information.
Focused, analytical, structured.
This system searches for patterns within complexity.
Embodied by Mauricio, a technologist who thrives in digital architectures and computational worlds, often operating in close proximity to computers, games, and complex technical frameworks.
System B — Noise
Intuition, art, imagination.
Expressive, social, unpredictable.
This system believes meaning can be felt before it is understood.
Embodied by Vero, an artist and technologist who blends intuition and computation, approaching technology itself as a creative medium.
When Signal and Noise coexist, a feedback loop emerges.
Noise expands possibility.
Signal builds the structure to hold it.
Together they create a system where intuition and logic reinforce one another.
Sometimes the result is a new idea.
Sometimes a new adventure.
Sometimes a relationship that lasts.
Tonight's costumes visualize this interaction.
One system appears as reflection — a mirrored interface that captures and returns the surrounding environment to the observer in real time.
The other appears as mystery — a concealed interface shaped by intuition, imagination, and the unseen signals of human consciousness.
Together they represent two different ways of perceiving the world.
This experiment takes place within a social environment, where observers become participants. Every reflection, interpretation, and interaction becomes part of the system.
Innovation rarely emerges from intuition or computation alone.
It appears at the intersection between the two.
Where imagination meets structure, new systems become possible.
